After what feels like an exceptionally long time of waiting for Wet N Wild products to make it to Amazon after each US release, I was so excited to read that they’re now officially being sold by Beauty Bay! UK readers rejoice, because I am going to run you through some of the top products from a cult-status, cruelty-free and very affordable makeup brand…

I already briefly mentioned this in my ‘How to find your Perfect Foundation’ post, and I also spoke about it in this Instagram post. That’s how much I love it. I find this foundation to have a smooth velvet-y finish, and just the right amount of coverage. It doesn’t settle into fine lines easily, and it lasts all day. Definitely a must-have for me!
I’m a huge setting spray lover, my go-to being the Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’. However, whist the UD option costs over £20, the Wet n Wild one is a fiver. I will totally be buying this in bulk; last time I tried it I paid a fortune to get it off Amazon. And it was worth it, too, it was that good. So £5? Total bargain!
It definitely keeps makeup looking fresh throughout the day, and it melts all my powder products together like a dream to give a blurred effect. I find my makeup looks a lot less caked on and dry after a long day when I use this setting spray. I cannot recommend it enough.
Okay, a few things to note about this product:
- It’s not a bronzer.
- It is, however, the PERFECT soft and subtle highlight for a glossy and slightly pearly look.
- I would almost tempted to buy it only because of the fabulous shade name…
- It has SPF! How cool is that? Pale people like me, get on this!
This highlighter is just gorgeous. It’s a huge pan that lasts forever, and is so soft and natural looking. I know I’m saying this about all the products, but yeah – I highly recommend.
This is one of the only products I have ever fully used up. I really like the contour side as it is cool-toned enough to create a shadow, but warm enough to bronze a little bit. The highlighting side is what makes the product though; it works to clean up under any contouring that has been blended a little too far, it can double up as a powder foundation (well, I guess that depends on your skin tone) and looks beautiful when used to set the under-eye. I haven’t tried the other, deeper shade, but I know it’s also very popular. Do beware, though, this product is exceptionally pigmented. A little really does go a long way. I definitely learned that the hard way…
A couple of years ago Wet n Wild launched their famous pink and white brush range, and I’m here to tell you, they did something amazing. I already spoke about the ‘Large Stipple’ brush being my favourite (read about it here) but I do also love the Powder brush, the Contouring brush and the Crease brush. The Flat Top brush is definitely one that changed my makeup routine. I never like brushes for foundation (total sponge girl!) but this one’s application is just flawless.
NO Wet n Wild round up is complete without this palette. I’m pretty sure it deserves veteran status in the world of beauty cult favourites, and for good reason! Although the packaging has changed from the palette I tried, I’m fairly sure the shadow quality has remained the same. It’s got all the shades necessary for either a smokey or natural look (Lucky you, getting this 10 pan one. The OG one that I have only has 8 shades, and they’re all shimmer! It was probably the only con the palette ever had, but thankfully Wet n Wild have updated it and added two beautiful matte transition shades) and some of the colours are really quite unique. Particularly the blue-red duo chrome. I don’t think I have ever heard a bad word said about this palette.
That’s it for my favourite products, but with Wet n Wild pretty much any product is a good one. There’s a reason they’re so renowned; the quality is exceptional for the cheap price. A lot of them I haven’t tried simply due to not having access – until now, that is. I can’t wait to place a huge order and update my collection! What will you be buying?
